Temporary Coffer Dams

Baffle systems are amongst the safest tube style temporary coffer dams available in the UK.  The unique internal baffle system ensures the dam will not roll when it is subjected in an unbalanced hydrostatic load. Keeping your workforce safe from harm and ensuring a speedy de-watering of your work site.

Coffer Dam Features and Benefits

Patented Baffle System

The barrier utilises a patented internal baffle system which ensures a safe and stable system. When the barrier is exposed to uneven hydrostatic pressure the internal baffle system locks into place to guarantee stability and safety.

 Ease of Use

Barriers have a uniqe lifting loop on each end which enables a track hoe arm to control the barrier duing installation and removal.

Environmentally Friendly

Barriers are installed using the available water source at the work site with minimal adverse impact to the environment and post work restoration. Simply drain and remove the barriers from site.

Small to Large Jobs

Barriers start at 0.3m and rise to 2.44m high in lengths up to 32 metres. Multiple barriers can be connected together to cover large areas. The barriers are connected by a simple overlapping procedure and can form many shapes to suit the site.

Speed and Time Savings

Barriers are installed in less time than most conventional cofferdam methods. Approximately 152 linear metres of barrier can be installed in 1 day using 6 men, 2 track hoes & 2 water pumps

Durability

Barriers are made from a scrim reinforced PVC material and industrial grade fittings that are intended to be re-used numerous times. The barrier is field repairable in wet or dry conditions utilising the repair kit which is provided with each order.

Configurations & Connection Requirements

Each inflated barrier section is straight without the capability to bend. When joining barriers an overlapping technique is employed. Simply place the barrier to be inflated on top of the end of the inflated barrier and begin the filling process. The amount of overlap is determined by barrier height.
