Rapidam and Floodguards will have numerous uses for pumping stations and electricity sub-stations that are prone to flooding. These barriers can be installed quickly and easily onto pre-installed beams or backframes. Using a Rapidam Handling Unit lengths up to 120m can be erected around a site in 40 minutes by 4 personnel.
All equipment for both systems can be stored on site to prevent issues of transport through flooded roads. Alternatively Speedy Beaver, our brand new in-situ flood barrier, may be the ideal solution for those hard to reach sites in the water and electricty networks.

The NRV Flusher will be an invaluable tool for the water industry for a number of reasons and because it is a simple push fit installation into exisiting manholes it is a very cost effective solution.
  1. A big problem with some basic NRVs is that they are prone to blockages which necessitate expensive call outs to unblock.
  2. A growing problem for the water industry is the build-up of fats, oils and greases "FOG" in the sewage system.
  3. The Flood and Water Management Bill 2009-10 will pass hundreds of private sewers under the control of the water industry with perhaps very little knowledge of their exact whereabouts.
The NRV Flusher helps to address a lot of these problems by its unique design.
  1. The continual flushing action will keep the NRV clear of obstructions

  3. If a sewer blockages is reported and its exact location is not known a NRV Flusher can be installed in the nearest known manhole.
